Ir Nahash

IR NAHASH (ĭr nā'hăsh, Heb. ‘îr nāhāsh). A town of Judah of which Tehinnah is called the “father,” probably meaning “founder” (1Chr.4.12). The site is uncertain.



IRNAHASH ĭr nā’ hăsh (עִ֣יר נָחָ֑שׁ). A town of Judah of which Tehinnah is called the “father” (1 Chron 4:12). The location is unknown; Deir Nahhas, near Beit Jibrin, has been suggested.

ur-na’-hash, ir-na’-hash (`ir nachash): A town of Judah of which Tehinnah is called the "father," probably meaning "founder" (1Ch 4:12). English Versions of the Bible margin suggests the translation "city of Nahash."
