Haggi

HAGGI (hăg'ī, festal). A son of Gad and grandson of Jacob (Gen.46.16); patriarch of the Haggites (Num.26.15).

HAGGI hăg’ ĭ (חַגִּ֖י, born on a feast day). The second son of Gad (Gen 46:16; Num 26:15); patronymic, HAGGITES, hăg’ īts (26:15).

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

The second son of Gad (Ge 46:16; Nu 26:15). The latter refers to his descendants as Haggites, of whom nothing else is known.
