Hagab
HAGAB (hā'găb, Heb. hāghāv, locust). Ancestor of some temple servants who returned with Zerubbabel (Ezra.2.46).
HAGAB hā’ găb (חָגָ֥ב, locust). Head of a family of Temple servants who returned after the Exile with Zerubbabel and Nehemiah (Ezra 2:46; 1 Esd 5:30 KJV, AGABA, ASV ACCABA); not mentioned in the parallel list in Nehemiah 7:48.

Ancestor of some of the Nethinim who returned from the Babylonian captivity with Zerubbabel and Nehemiah. The name occurs second after Hagabah in Ezr 2:46, but is omitted entirely from the parallel list of Ne 7:48.
