Habazziniah

HABAZZINIAH (hab'a-zĭ-nī'a). Ancestor of the Recabites of the time of Jeremiah. Mentioned only in Jer.35.3.

HABAZZINIAH hăb’ ə zĭ nī’ ə (חֲבַצִּנְיָ֔ה). KJV HABAZINIAH. The grandfather of Jaazaniah, the leader of the Rechabites who were tested by Jeremiah regarding their obedience to their ancestor’s command that they were not to drink wine (Jer 35:3).
