Gazez
GAZEZ (gā'zĕz)
Son of Ephah.Grandson of Ephah, Caleb’s concubine (1Chr.2.46).
GAZEZ gā’ zĭz (Heb. גָּזֵֽז, prob. derived from the word for shearing sheep, גָּזַז, H1605). The word occurs as the name of a Calebite family only in 1 Chronicles 2:46 twice. It means something like “born at shearing time.” They were a son and a brother of Haran; the older commentators thought them to be a son and grandson of Caleb.
