GALAL (gā'lăl). The name of two Levites: 1. 1Chr.9.15.
2. 1Chr.9.16; Neh.11.17.
GALAL gā’ lăl (גָּלָ֑ל, LXX Γαλαλ, perhaps A rolling away). 1. One of the Levites who returned to the tribe’s possessions from exile in Babylonia (1 Chron 9:15).
2. The son of Jeduthun and grandfather of Obadiah (or Abda, Neh 11:17), one of the Levites who returned to the tribe’s possessions from Babylonian exile (1 Chron 9:16).
