Ennatan
ENNATAN (See Elnathan) ĕn nā tăn (Ενναταν). Ennatan is found only in the apocryphal book of 1 Esdras (1 Esdras 8:44). Some trs. have emmended this to read “Elnathan” as it is in the first part of the v., for there are two occurrences of the name in the v. In the parallel lists found in the Book of Ezra (8:16), the name “Elnathan” is used three times. Ennatan is not found at all in the Book of Ezra.
International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)
