Carmel (city)
CARMEL (city) kär’ məl (כַּרְמֶ֖ל; LXX [1] Κάρμηλος, [2] Χέρμελ [Josh 15:55]; plantation, garden-land; by metonymy [fresh], fruit, garden-growth). A very ancient town in the mountains of Judah.
