AWNING (מְכַסֶּה, H4833, from כָּסָה, H4059, to cover, spread over; RSV, ASV AWNING Ezekiel 27:7; KJV THAT WHICH COVERED THEE). Prob. the reference is to the deck awning on a ship that protected the passengers from the sun. The awning was made of woven material.
