Ahzai

AHZAI (a-zī', Heb. ’ahzay, my protector). A priest who lived in Jerusalem (Neh.11.13).

AHZAI ä’ zī (אַחְזַ֥י, Jehovah has grasped). A priest who lived in Jerusalem in Ezra’s time (Neh 11:13). The KJV has AHASAI. Probably the same as Jahzerah in 1 Chronicles 9:12.

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

A priest who resided in Jerusalem (Ne 11:13). The the King James Version has Ahasai which is probably the same as Jahzevah of 1Ch 9:12.
