ADLAI (ăd'lā-ī, Heb. ‘adhlay, justice of Jehovah, or weary). Father of Shaphat, who was overseer of David’s cattle in the lowlands (1Chr.27.29).


ADLAI ăd’ lā, lī (עַדְלָֽי, Jehovah is just). The father of Shaphat, herdsman of the royal flocks in the time of David (1 Chron 27:29).
