About This Class
The issue we often don’t address when talking about churches is “health.” We talk about size, programs, budgets and staffs, but church health is often not on our radar. Bert Downs and Mark Hoeffner will help put it there in this lively dialogue about how they have been working on this issue.
About the Professor
Bert Downs
Bert Downs is a versatile individual known for his diverse career as a teacher, coach, executive, and pastor. He excels at leading organizational change and coaching other leaders. Despite not being a theologian, he brings a solid theological foundation to his work. Bert's down-to-earth coaching style and team approach define his life and ministry. He resides in Washington State with his wife Alice, where he serves as Chancellor of Western Seminary and a regional coach for Southwest Church Connection. Alice runs her own business.
