One of the greatest challenges facing future ministers is not just preparation, but the right type of preparation. If a person thinks that knowing biblical content and its theology is all that is required, they will surely fail. There is so much more to leading a community than knowing the right answers, as important as those answers are.
This is why we are championing the image of a circle, going round and round, intersecting at four points, all important, all connected, all done within the relationship context provided by your local church and supervised by your pastors and elders. This is what true preparation for ministry is about. As we continue to grow our curriculum, we will be filling out this concept.
