Pastor Paul leads a church in Chandigarh, northern India. His church is situated in a region where 99% of the population does not believe in Jesus Christ. In response, he and his congregation are actively planting churches across five states in northwest India to reach the unreached.

As these new churches are established, they require pastors to lead them. Healthy pastors cultivate healthy churches, which in turn transform communities through the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, a significant challenge emerges: these church leaders need training. Pastor Paul explains, "The majority of our pastors and church planters are first-generation believers. They have a profound desire to grow in God's Word and learn how to minister effectively, as well as train others for ministry."

These new leaders lack access to Christian bookstores, seminaries, or Bible training institutes. This situation is not unique to them. Globally, it's estimated that less than 10 percent of church leaders have received training to lead a church in their specific context. The pace of leadership training has not kept up with the rate of church planting.

If you commit to making at least a $1,000 donation for three consecutive years, your gift will be doubled up to $10,000 per gift, up to $150,000 per year in matched gifts.
