Who we are

The mission of BiblicalTraining is to provide world-class educational resources for making new and fully-formed disciples within the context of the local church. Here are some of the individuals that help to fulfill this mission:

	Bill Mounce (pictured here with his wife, Robin). I am the President and founder of BiblicalTraining.org. BiblicalTraining started as a dream to share the highest quality education possible with the greatest number of people possible for the lowest price possible. Initially I was thinking in terms of elder training in the local, American church, but the dream quickly expanded to becoming a major training site for people around the world, especially for the poorest of the poor in the majority world. 	Matt Smith (pictured here speaking in India). I am the Vice President of BiblicalTraining. I also serve as the associate pastor at Bethlehem Christian Church in Elon, NC. Previously, I worked with New Directions International, a missions organization that partners with national church leaders. My passion is to see the church equipped for doing the work of ministry that God may be glorified. My personal information and sermons can be found at www.DMatthewSmith.com.
	Ed Taylor. I am the director of BiblicalTraining, which means I am primarily responsible for editing the recorded audio, keeping the website up to date, answering questions that come in through email, and do many of the day-to-day things that come up. In one sense, I try to do whatever I can to free Bill up so that he can concentrate on vision, networking, and getting new classes.
	Tim Tennent. I am a member of the board of BiblicalTraining, and am the President at Asbury Theological Seminary. For the last 20 years I have also taught at the Luther W. New, Jr. Theological College (NTC) of Dehra Dun, India, as well as in China, Nigeria, Thailand and Eastern Europe.
