Biblical Training's India Orphanage

At the final judgment, Jesus is going to ask if we cared for our disenfranchised brothers and sisters. Here is what we want to hear:

‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ (Matthew 25:31-46, see also James 1:27, ESV)

A few of the 22 orphans headed for the first orphanage built

South Asian Institute

I have always thought of BiblicalTraining.org as my "cup of cool water," my primary act of obedience to a God who cares for the poor and needy. But I wanted something more direct, more concrete (pun intended).

orphanage

The first of the eight orphanages at the South Asian Institute

This is part of the beauty of the South Asian Institute (see link to the left). Their goal is to build eight orphan homes around their campus. Each home holds 32 children, 4 to a room, with a centralized play area that is safe and a two-room apartment for the house parents. (What a great place to send our graduating seniors, to serve in the orphanage.) Each house costs only $60,000. BiblicalTraining.org has requested the privilege of raising the funds for one of these homes.

My Invitation

I invite you to be a part of this orphanage project. No money given to BiblicalTraining.org in general will go to this project; only money specifically designated will go to the orphanage.

See you at the throne!
