The LAMP Project

Helping to train pastors and church leaders around the world

We have partnered with New Directions International to help us distribute our curriculum to the majority world. They have been working with leadership training in the bush of Africa and India (and many other places) for over 40 years.Our goal for this project is to create a curriculum especially for people in the two-thirds world who are unable to go to seminary, even in their home country, but who desire to fill leadership positions in their church.

The LAMP curriculum includes The Story of Jesus, and all the classes in New Believers and Foundations. Now that the classes are done, the next step is to transcribe the English lectures, then translate them into multiple languages, including Hindi, Nepali, and several African languages, and then re-record them in those languages. Most of the world learns by hearing, not reading, and BT's primary commitment is to oral learners..

Then, for $200 donation, we will be able to send a mp3 player (see picture below) and the classes to these people anywhere in the world, at no cost to them. You can also download the latest flyer.
