Q is a supposed but not necessarily real source of Jesus’ teaching. Scholars who accepts the Q hypothesis namely Mark was the first gospel to be written and that the 200 verses of Jesus’ teaching found both in Matthew and Luke but not in Mark, supposes but not necessarily comes from another source“Q”.

Isn't there another scripture that is quoted by either Jesus or one of his disciples that we have yet to find?
This does not mean that if we were to find a document such as this we would add it to the cannon which is considered complete by evangelicals.
We do know that Jesus quoted from other sources besides the Maseretic text or the Septuagint. Is this not accurate? Those of you resident Biblical Scholars.
