Dr. Stuart has an infection style and I now look forward to listening to his longer series of talks.
I was interested to learn that the New Testament contains over 2700 references and/or allusions. I wonder if these are listed anywhere? If anyone has a reference one might consult I would be interested to learn of it.
Dr. Stuart’s remarks concerning the Law were particularly insightful and reassuring. In this connection I was interested to learn that there are 601 laws as well as the two major laws and the Ten Commandments. Are the 601 laws listed anywhere and does anyone have a reference I might consult?
My thanks to Dr Stuart and all those at biblicaltraining.org.
For example, a ceremonial law
For example, a ceremonial law might be addressed to the Levites, speak of purification or holiness and have content which could be considered as a foreshadowing of some aspect of Christ's life or ministry. In keeping with this, most advocates also hold that when the Law is spoken of as everlasting.

I don't have a full listing
I don't have a full listing of all the allusions of the NT to the OT, but if a list of the quotations of the OT in the NT will help, you can find several of these online. Here's one example: http://www.kalvesmaki.com/LXX/NTChart.htm
It's doubtful a list of all 2700 allusions would be very helpful anyway, because the NT only has about 8000 verses, which means there's one allusion to the OT for every three NT verses on average!
For the negative laws in the Torah, see http://www.milechai.com/judaism/613-laws-of-the-torah-365-negative-laws....
For the positive ones, see http://www.milechai.com/judaism/613-laws-of-the-torah-248-positive-laws....
Hope this helps you out,
Patrick
List of laws in the NT and the OT
Just a short note of thanks. I am sure you are correct when you say that the list of 2700 OT references/allusions is unlikely to be very useful but I like to be able to see for myself the things which people speak about. I could not find any realy useful references myself so your help is much appreciated.
