How wonderful it is to listen to a lecturer who is passionate about his subject. Dr. Wallace provides a useful overview of the ‘History of the English Bible’. I found his comments concerning the King James Bible particularly helpful in view of the insistence of some that this translation is the only valid and accurate copy of the Bible in English. At the same time it is clear that Dr. Wallace thinks that the King James Bible has many merits and should be on every student’s shelf.
