Lesson 6 Lukes Christology

Just a note.
Although it is skipped over in lesson six of Dr. Thielman's class on New Testament Theology, Luke is explicit in his record of Christ not only as Messiah but also in His Deity as the Son of God. This is seen in Chapter 1:32,35.

And the Angel said ..."you shall call Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of The Most High."

"The Holy Spirit shall come upon you and the power of The Most High shall overshadow you, therefore the child that to be born will be called Holy-The Son of God."
