It is easy to sit behind your computer and become very strong and very right, isn't it. It is easy to think that the biblical commands for gracious speech don't apply to me, because I am right and am justified in my attitude.
These forums will be a safe place for the exchange of ideas and the encouragement of one another. Any speech that violates this simple directive will lead to a removal from the website.
This is a topic I blogged on a while back (click here). If you have any doubts about what this guideline means, I would encourage you to read it.

Amen!
The world around us has become saturated with indignant intolerance that many times makes its way onto the blogs and comments of those frequenting the web (I don't watch TV, but I'll assume it's just as bad there as well.) But remember, many times we, as believers (I'm assuming you're a believer), are the first "bible" non-believers will see. Do you want to win arguments, or souls? I don't believe the Great Commission or commandment included an orational victory. Be kind; exhibit the fruits of the spirit and show people you love them. Even as I write this, I realize I may be sounding a bit self-righteous and I want to make it abundantly clear that as a Christian, a husband and a father, I frequently fail at my job in being kind and comforting. Thank you, Lord for your sacrifice, that saved a wretch like me!
